Actinomyces
Jedan od rodova familije Actinomycetes, Iz A. lavendulae dobiven je već 1916. god. antibiotik strepotricin, kasnije napušten usljed kumulativnog dejstva u životinjskom organizmu. Iz jedne čiste loze (A. griseus – Streptomyces griseus) dobiven je streptomicin.
